A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2015.
A few days ago I was saying how I missed the natural grain that would show on photos shot with film cameras. I was answered that I could get the grain using a photo editor. I know I can (...!). But I don't love having to process my photos through photoshop or its equivalent too much. It is nice to have sharp photos but I like imperfections too.
The grain was the first thing I noticed here. And loved (so much for my ego).
Yes soon enough they will learn to open and close doors by themselves. They will decide whether they want you to come with them or not. We are, me & Manech, going through a phase where while we are still strongly connected, I am taking control of my body back to myself. Not allowing him to jump on my breast whenever he gets the urge to do so. We have had our moments throughout the week. Some really good days, some heavily grumpy ones. But we are working the whole transition phase as a team. He knows. And I do love those free-breast snuggles, when all he wants is me and not my milky-me. I may be slowly, carefully, closing a door but love the sneak peeks I get of what's ahead of us. I am so proud of this little soul. And I so sound like a mom..!
