A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2015
Since yesterday was Mother's day I wanted this weekly portrait to be of him and me. Meaning that for once I was not going to be the one shooting behind the camera.
That is when a smart-multi-task-husband comes in very handy. I could even add annoyingly-talented-mutli-tasker. Seriously the man was a captain on board tanker boats (talking 600 feet long type of tanker!), is currently climbing & trimming big eucalyptus and tall coconut trees, just spent his Sunday fixing up my computer from scratch and got enough creativity to grab a camera he's barely ever used before and shoot some pretty cool photos of his wife & son. I am not even talking about him baking bread every week, growing salads, carrots, eggplants...I'll stop here. It was Mother's day after all, not Father's day, right! Well I was sick pretty much all week-end. The runny-nose-soar-throat type of thing. It rained almost all days Saturday & Sunday so we really only stayed home but still had quite a blast with Manech, playing and laughing pretty hard even though my energy was far from reaching the moon.
We tend to be pretty happy just us and I am loving these days when really, we don't need to see anyone else.
As we decided to walk outside regardless of the rain, the sky cleared all in a sudden and the sun picked through the clouds. the lights were beautiful, the greens surreal and I love that we have matching outfits. Smile.
