And 42 weeks to go.
So far it has been fun grabbing my camera and shooting those moments in life. A good discipline too. As weeks seem to go by at the speed of a shooting elephant, I am glad I get to keep some memories alive through photos. If I was shooting myself I could only see new lines on my face, happy lines but also lines that remind you that well, you're aging my dear-self! That's ok but here I just love to watch him go through all those precious first-time-moments. Before starting the 52 project, one portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2015, I didn't think I'd post so many photos of my boy here but it's definitely fun to be part of this community of women. Bringing more creativity into our lives, can't go wrong with that right?
Here's what 10 weeks of portraits look like on my wall. I first printed them on regular photo paper, standard photo size, but I just like it when there is more texture to a photo and decided to give a try printing on regular A4 copy paper. Loved the result. Might as well make a statement. The wall is large, white and pretty empty anyway.
